Our History

CraftCroswell was established in 1973 by Maynard Craft and Bill and Bob Croswell. In the first 10-15 years the Company was primarily focused flooring, wall coverings, window treatments and furniture in both the commercial and residential space.

Towards the end of the 80s this focus migrated to focus solely on the commercial flooring industry and grew exponentially over the years to become the Company it is today. With over fifty employees and four office locations, this Company’s history is far from complete.

In 1992, several independent commercial flooring dealers recognized they could strengthen resources by combining their individual capabilities into an international network. Craft Croswell was one of the founding members of that network, which became StarNet. Today, StarNet is comprised of over 170 locally owned full-service flooring contractors representing more than 300 locations throughout North America and Canada.
